     Dr. Sanjay Kumar is working as Principal Agricultural Economist (Professor) in the Agro-Economic Research Centre, Department of Economics & Sociology at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab (India). His research area is farm management and agricultural marketing. He has handled different studies related to the various problems in different agro-climatic regions of India. Dr. Kumar has submitted sixteen research reports to the Ministry of Agriculture on different aspects of Indian agriculture like, horticulture crops, land policy, price policy, agricultural mechanisation, input subsidies, farmers’ suicides, post-harvest losses, non-farm employment, agricultural policy, women enterprises, and processing of paddy. Besides, Dr. Kumar has published twenty research papers in different journals of repute. He teaches the various courses of the agricultural economics to the Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate students. In addition, he has guided one M.Sc. student and presently guiding the three students for M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) degree programme. Dr. Kumar has been associated with various professional societies and has also held various offices in these professional societies.
